Entry Requirements

• All chili entries must be cooked beforehand and brought ready to serve.

• Contestants are responsible for bringing enough chili for public sampling.

• Each entry must be labeled with the contestant’s name and chili name at check-in.

Setup & Supplies

• Contestants must arrive early enough to set up prior to the event start time.

• Contestants are responsible for their own crockpots, warmers, utensils, and serving supplies unless otherwise arranged.

Judging & Voting

• Attendees will purchase a $5 tasting wristband which allows them to sample and vote.

• The chili with the most votes will be declared the winner.

• In case of a tie, event staff will determine the final winner.

Liability

• The Chiefland Farmers Flea Market, event staff, and sponsors are not responsible for accidents, loss, or injury during the event.

• Contestants are solely responsible for their chili and any equipment they bring.

Agreement

• I agree to these rules and understand that by entering the Chili Cookoff, my chili will be sampled by the public.

• I agree to conduct myself in a safe, family-friendly, and respectful manner throughout the event.
